TA World Conference. The Challenge of Growth

Dear Colleagues,

Our World Transactional Analysis Conference Bilbao 2011 has been a delightful event ! The theme of the conference was The Challenges of Growth. Five hundred participants have shared knowledge ,skills, and scientific excitement. The conference provided both significant learning and enjoyable social time for all. We have all grown in many ways by attending this conference.

We have grown together trough the wonderful lectures given by our relevant keynotes : Richard Erskine, Mª Teresa Tosi,JoseM. Martinez,Jim Allen and Natalia Ojeda, Gloria Noriega and Davide Ceridono. Richard Erskine opened the conference with a stimulating address that integrated a Relational perspective on Growth with the traditional TA emphasis on Change. Symposium leaders and keynotes speakers shared a lot of exciting and useful knowledge. They included Keith Tudor and Charlotte Sills (clinical) Liselotte Fassbind-Kech and Bea Verzaal (organizational ) Karen Pratt, Jean Illsey Clark and Günter Mohr (educational). All the Symposium and workshop presenters gave our comunity a generous possibility of learning and engaging in discussions about TA methods and theories. They have each opened new paths for our personal and professional learning and GROWTH.

For all that went into making this a professionally rewarding and successful world conference , I want to express my gratitude to the many people that have been involved in the logistics of organizing this event and in the creation of the scientific program. Many people (too many to mention by name) have been dreaming about and working on this conference for more than a year, so of course : GRACIAS a todas y todos los que habeis hecho posible te Congreso con vuestro trabajo y dedicación! THANKS to all of you who have provided your dedicated work and have made a success of this Conference!!!
